About Ms. Harrison

How I Got Here

      Hello, my name is Gia Harrison. I was born in  Huntsville, Tx and raised in my hometown of Madisonville, Tx. As of  December 2020, I have graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors and I hope to go back to school to receive my Masters in order to become a Principal. As a first year teacher, I am super thrilled to have your students in my class. I hope we can make many astounding strides and memories this year.

     Another thing about me is that I am very family-oriented and I love children. If I am not at school, you will probably find me with my family or taking care of my little cousins. This being said, I hope to treat my students and parents like a big family that works together to ensure we all succeed. This passion for children is what has brought me to this career choice. I feel it is so important to love what you do and that is why I knew teaching would be the right choice for me!
